Who I am
Jonathan Growcott is a conservation technologist and large carnivore biologist. He is a PhD student at the University of Exeter, UK and an external student at the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU), University of Oxford.
He has published in world-leading, peer-reviewed scientific journals and is a regular communicator of science through radio and press. He has acted as a consultant to National Geographic Kids magazine and the BBC Natural History Unit, and has been a guest lecturer for the world-renowned University of Oxford’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU) post-graduate diploma in conservation practice.
A passionate traveller and adventurer who is most at home outside, usually on a rock.
